There is a very interesting discussion over at Lending Clarity, a blog that focuses on the lending industry, on what has happened at SouthStar. There are comments by ex SouthStar employees and the reason for the closing of this lender may not be as much general market forces but a power play by some of the big Wall Street wholesalers.
